Go @ Faith

Go…out to seek and minister to those who need Jesus

The mission of the church is to go into the world. At Faith, we seek to fulfill that mission in the following ways…

Everyday from September to May, we get the privilege of serving 175 children and their families through our preschool. Our desire is to minister to the entire family, not just the children.

We are thrilled that we get to work with Brentwood Elementary School through the Rising Stars ministry of Associated Churches. We reach out to the staff, the children, and the families of the school with school supplies in August, teacher appreciation month, help with food at Thanksgiving and Christmas, celebrating the completion of parenting classes, and any other ways we can.  Study Connection is another way we connect with the students.  Study Connection begins in October and lasts throughout the school year.  We spend an hour on Tuesdays helping the students with homework and build relationships with them.

Faith serves its community by ministering to children and families through sports. Upward Basketball and Cheerleading is one way that we do that. From January to March our gym is filled with kids and their parents cheering and having fun during basketball games. Upward provides a sound teaching of the game but more importantly a sport with the main focus on Christ.

Faith seeks to serve the community through our “GO” days. 4-5 times a year, we spend the day by serving people at their homes by doing indoor and outdoor work and have formed a partnership through NeighborLink.  NeighborLink provides the jobs and materials needed to help out our community.
